But the ABC late-night star was amused by “White House Stress Secretary Sean Sporty Spicer’s” pitch of the plan at his most recent on-camera press briefing.
“Look at the size. This is the Democrats; this is us,” Spicer said of the two plans’ paperwork, stacked side by side.
“You can’t get any clearer in terms of ‘this is government; this is not’,” Spicer said, pointing at Obamacare and American Health Care Act, respectively.
“So let me get this straight,” Kimmel said. “Small hands: bad. Small crowd: bad. Small stack of papers: good. It’s like he’s writing Melissa McCarthy’s sketches for her.”
