Meredith Bennett, who was co-EP of The Colbert Report and moved with its host to CBS and became an EP of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, has joined RadicalMedia as Executive in Charge of Operations, Media & Entertainment.

Bennett, a two-time Emmy Award winner for Colbert Report who left Late Show in June, will oversee Radical’s production and postproduction operations for all Media & Entertainment content including film, TV, documentary, branded content and shortform digital programming, as well as overall management of operations. Report directly to RadicalMedia Entertainment President Justin Wilkes, she also will work with Radical’s Joe Killian and Jon Doran its music, brand and live event initiatives.

Bennett was with Comedy Central’s Colbert Report from its 2005 launch through its end in December 2014 and moved to The Late Show for its CBS debut on September 8, 2015. Before Colbert she worked on programs including The Rosie O’Donnell ShowVH1 Storytellers, MTV’s Unplugged and The Jane Pauley Show.

RadicalMedia also said today that Erik Batt is its new Head of Communications. With a media relations résumé that includes long stints at HBO and IFC, he will be responsible for implementing PR strategies for all company divisions and will work closely with distributors and networks on the promotional campaigns of RadicalMedia productions.
