Written by Posamentier and Moore, Down in the Valley is described as a darkly comedic hourlong crime drama and family soap told from the perspective of a talented female police officer who returns home to Napa Valley to support her struggling family after her troubled sister disappears and leaves her infant daughter in need of care. When she joins the Napa County Sheriff’s Department to make ends meet, she quickly realizes that this posh, bucolic, “small town” paradise now has more than its fair share of big-city problems. Posamentier and Moore also executive produce. TriStar Television is the studio.

Posamentier and Moore wrote and directed the 2014 feature Better Living Through Chemistry, which starred Sam Rockwell, Michelle Monaghan and Olivia Wilde. The duo also are developing an hourlong drama at Amazon set in the world of drugs and politics in 1980s Texas, with Chris Weitz and Andrew Miano producing. Posamentier and Moore are repped by Verve, Kaplan/Perrone and attorney Jeff Frankel at McKuin Frankel Whitehead.

ABC also has in development hourlong drama The Marquis, executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec and Sarah Schechter. Warner Bros. TV is the studio.
