In anticipation of what should be huge viewership for tonight’s Game 7 of the World Series on Fox, one rival network is switching to an all-encores primetime schedule. NBC said today that it will air two repeat episodes of Law & Order: SVU at 8 and 9 PM, followed by a rerun of Chicago P.D. at 10. It had been set to air originals of Blindspot, L&O: SVU and Chicago P.D. at 8, 9 and 10, respectively.

CBS, meanwhile, plans to run a repeat of Criminal Minds at 9 PM but is sticking with originals of Survivor and Code Black at 8 and 10, respectively. ABC is sticking with its airing of the 50th annual CMA Awards from 8-11 PM tonight.

One night earlier, against Game 6 on Fox, NBC had aired The Voice and originals of This Is Us and Chicago Fire. ABC also ran originals in primetime, while CBS went with repeats from 8-11 PM. The Chicago Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians 9-3 on Tuesday night to force tonight’s deciding Game 7, which Fox will air starting at 8:08 PM ET. Joe Buck and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smotlz are the announcers.
