In his new position, which is effective immediately, Somers will collaborate with the network’s programming team to support and advise producers with program research and leverage digital and social media analytics across the network. He will also continue to oversee national, local and multi-platform ratings analysis and consumer insight for Fox’s primetime entertainment division.
Prior to joining Fox in 2000, Somers conducted audience and program research for the Walt Disney Company’s Buena Vista Television syndication and Touchstone Television studio, where his responsibilities included audience analysis, pilot testing and series maintenance.
