History has ordered 20 additional episodes of Forged in Fire as the hit competition series’ third season hit all-time ratings highs.

The series showed growth across all key demos in its 10-episode Season 3, including +11% in Adults 18-49 and +13% in Adults 25-54 in Live+3. The series also was a top five nonfiction cable series on Tuesday nights in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 and garnered 1.58 million total viewers in Live +3, making it the series’ most-watched season.

Forged in Fire is a competition series where the most talented bladesmiths in the world test their mettle as they create many of history’s most iconic edged weapons, from the Japanese katana to the tribal Hunga Munga to the Scottish Claymore.

Outpost Entertainment, a Leftfield Entertainment Company, is the producer. Jodi Flynn, David George, Shawn Witt and Simon Thomas are executive producers for Outpost. Tim Healy and Jim Pasquarella are executive producers for History.
