PREVIOUSLY, November 1: Zach Galifianakis, Moonlight‘s André Holland, Pan‘s Levi Miller and Deric McCabe have been added to the cast of Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time, which stars Oprah Winfrey and is being directed by Ava DuVernay based on Jennifer Lee’s adaptation. The reimagined tale of the classic Madeleine L’Engle children’s book begins shooting tomorrow in L.A.

Bellamy Young, Rowan Blanchard and Will McCormack round out the cast that includes Winfrey as Mrs. Which, Reese Witherspoon as Mrs. Whatsit, Mindy Kaling as Mrs. Who, Chris Pine as Mr. Murry and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Mrs. Murry. Galifianakis will play The Happy Medium, Holland is Principal Jenkins, Miller plays Calvin and McCabe is Charles Wallace. Storm Reid plays Meg Murry.

The live-action pic centers on Meg Murray, her brilliant brother Charles and their friend Calvin on an unexpected journey into alternate dimensions on a mission to bring home their father.

Principal photography will mostly take place in California, with two weeks of production in New Zealand planned, Disney said today. Jim Whitaker and Catherine Hand are producing.
