Netflix has dropped a video of a fictional newscast reporting the disappearance of Barb Holland and the theft of “unprecedented amounts” of Eggo waffles.

The news of Barb’s disappearance is reported by real-life news anchor Barbara Woods on “Minute By Minute” a local newscast from fictional TV station WIYZ in Hawkins, IN, where all of these strange things are happening. Woods reports that Barb is described by her friends as “loyal to a fault,” and as “the kind of girl who notices if you’re wearing a new bra.”

Another breaking news story on the fictional newscast is the odd theft from Bradley’s Big Buy of several boxes of Eggo waffles. WIYZ shows security footage of a “vagrant juvenile” (Eleven) grabbing the waffle boxes before Woods herself disappears followed by the Stranger Things logo and the theme music.
