NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt will premiere a new video open and graphics tonight. Holt’s broadcast dominates this season in the news demo, but ABC’s World News Tonight With David Muir took the first two weeks in total viewers for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.

Meanwhile, as NBC’s flagship newscast unveils its new opening, the news division’s much bigger story is its new-ish hire Billy Bush, who was suspended on Sunday after the Washington Post released that 2005 video in which he is heard exchanging lewd comments about women with now-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Al Roker stepped in to host Bush’s 9 AM hour of Today this morning.
