Disney has dropped a look inside Marvel’s Doctor Strange with a featurette tited Universe’s Within in celebration of today’s global IMAX 3D sneak peek of the film. In the clip, star Benedict Cumberbatch, producer Kevin Feige and director Scott Derrickson talk about their approach to making the pic and Imax’s role.

Doctor Strange follows the journey of Marvel’s Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), once the world’s top neurosurgeon (he’s didn’t go to 8 years of college to be called Mister Strange) whose surgical career and corresponding insufferable arrogance were ended after a severe car accident that left his hands crippled. Desperate to find a cure and resume his old life, he travels the world only to end up under the mentorship of The Ancient One, the leader of a secret society of magic users who teaches Strange the mystic arts. Returning to New York, Strange becomes the new Sorcerer Supreme, protector of Earth from magical threats.

Along with Cumberbatch, the film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as fellow acolyte of the Ancient One (and, in the comics, bitter enemy) Karl Mordo, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, along with Rachel McAdams as a fellow surgeon from Strange’s old life, Michael Stuhlbarg as rival scientist Nicodemus West, Mads Mikkelsen as a rival magician who carves out his own sect, and Benedict Wong as Strange’s right hand man, Wong. Derrickson is directing from a script by Jon Spaihts and C. Robert Cargill.
