Disney has dropped a teaser trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, which comes ahead of its May 5, 2017 global release. The first one bowed in August 14 and was a bit of a surprise, further demonstrating the power of Marvel with a $773.3M global box office haul for a property that in the brand’s pop-culture terms has mostly ridden shotgun to the likes of Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man and X-Men.

Director James Gunn and the rest of the starring cast are back for this one, with the tone of the first title warmly embraced here at least in this sneak peek (the pic’s first look outside of Comic-Con), from awkward hugging to Blue Swede’s “Hooked On A Feeling” which was featured in the first pic.

Back on the ship for the sequel: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel’s voices. Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Rooker and of course Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone are also in the movie.

Check out the teaser above. Disney also unveiled a poster, below:
