Hot on heels of a strong opening for its newly released awards-season pic Moonlight, A24 has made another big acquisition. It has acquired Good Time, a bad-ass crime movie starring Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The indie distributor saw footage of the crime drama directed by Benny and Josh Safdie, then made a seven-figure minimum guarantee commitment. Josh Safdie and Ronald Bronstein penned the script. Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis, Terry Dougas and Jon Luc Defanti are aboard as financiers and producers.

WME Global brokered the deal. Memento will sell foreign rights at the upcoming American Film Market.
