The Daily Show correspondent Ronny Chieng joined the pile-on of people trashing Jesse Watters’  The O’Reilly Factor segment on Fox News Channel, in which Watters trekked to Chinatown – because of Donald Trump’s campaign comments on China.

“So, when he mentions Mexico, do you send someone to Taco Bell,” Chieng bellowed, setting up his own video.

“Chinatown is nothing like China. That’s like if they brought up women’s rights so I decided to go over to Fox News to get some opinions,” Chieng snarked.

As were many other critics of Watters’ segment, Chieng was particularly offended by the cricket sound affects that followed questions, asked in English, to older residents, who seemed not to understand Watters, and remained silent.

“Hey asshole, they don’t speak English. That’s why they’re silent. It’s easy to make fun of someone when they can’t respond,” Chieng said, addressing Watters. “Here, I will show you.” Chieng began to shout incendiary questions at screen grabs of Watters, including one as to whether Watters has prostitutes on speed dial, and another about O’Reilly’s anatomy.

“Chinese Americans do actually have thoughts on this year’s election,” Chieng said, by way of introducing his own video visit in which he documented exactly that.
