With Ouija: Origin Of Evil now in theaters, a new video has dropped examining the score for the Blumhouse Productions horror film. In it, composers The Newton Brothers (Andy Grush & Taylor Stewart) talk about the impact of classic horror films and horror film scores on their own work, particularly Poltergeist. Directed by Mike Flanagan and written by Flanagan and Jeff Howard, Ouija: Origin Of Evil stars Elizabeth Reaser, Annalise Basso, Lulu Wilson, Henry Thomas, Parker Mack, and Doug Jones. A prequel to 2014’s Ouija, the film tells the story of a fortune teller and her two children who inadvertently summon a spirit, the consequences of which wreak havoc through their lives. Michael Bay, Bradley Fuller, Andrew Form, Jason Blum, Brian Goldner, Stephen Davis, and Trevor Macy produced. with It hit theaters Friday and has pulled in approximately $22 million in its opening weekend.
