With hours to go before the 68th Emmy Awards, those of you unable to make it to your television might now be scrambling to figure out where and how to watch. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered – read on for an easy guide to catching the big event.
The Jimmy Kimmel-hosted event is airing live today on ABC with the pre-show starting at 4:00 PM Pacific and the main event starting at 5:00. If you can’t catch it at your friend’s watch-party, you can always catch the live stream on ABC.com. AT&T U-verse, Charter Spectrum, Cox, DirectTV, Dish Network, Optimum, and Verizon customers can sign in to watch using their provider account logins.
ABC is also streaming the Emmys on its mobile app (which also requires a login from a participating TV provider). Download to your Android or Apple device, login and hit “live TV” and you’re off and running.
The Emmys will be preceded today by the usual red carpet pre-show at 3:30 PM Pacific, but if you’re dying for an extra long look at extravagant outfits, E!’s red carpet coverage kicks off this afternoon at 1:30 PM Pacific. And of course, if you miss it today, the whole ceremony will be accessible on-demand beginning tomorrow.
Be sure and check back with Deadline starting at 3:30 PM Pacific today for our complete coverage and in the meantime, see our Emmy’s predictions and pre-analysis here:
