Peter Stormare (American Gods, Fargo) and Swedish stand-up comedian Johan Glans star in the series, with Keanu Reeves featuring as a special guest star in a number of episodes. Set in LA, the 10-episode series sees a former stuntman (Storemare) and former DJ (Glans) partner as small-time private detectives.

It’s the first Nordic title to be distributed worldwide by Lionsgate and is expected to premiere in the U.S. early next year. Brain Academy produce the series with LA-based outfit Viking Brothers Entertainment.

“This is a milestone for MTG,” CEO Jorgen Madsen Lindemann said in a statement. “As a leading provider of entertainment experiences, we are now placing more focus on original programming that captivates our viewers.
