Disney’s Thanksgiving tentpole Moana is the latest entry from the filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker, who also helmed The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. The CG-animated film, which stars Auli’i Cravalho as the voice of the lead character Moana and Dwayne Johnson who is a half-god/half-mortal, follows Moana’s quest to save her people. Together, the two unlikely friends sail across an ocean against impossible odds, meeting monsters, and ultimately finding herself along the way.

The film was teased at this year’s Comic-Con by another voice artist Alan Tudyk (Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, and Big Hero 6). Jemaine Clement (The BFG, Despicable Me), Rachel House (Whale Rider, Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Once Were Warriors) and Nicole Scherzinger, the Grammy-nominated singer of the West End’s Cats also voice characters.

Moana is being released in the U.S. on November 23.
