Verizon’s Go90 has ordered six episodes of Embeds, a political comedy series executive produced by Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly (The Kelly File).

The series tells the story of five young reporters who are in way over their heads as they find themselves shaping the future of the country through raucous adventures in an unexpected world of sex, drugs and swing states on the presidential campaign trail. Cameos by major political figures are expected to be part of the series. Producers hope for the first episode to air by Election Day. Casting is currently underway.

Embeds was created by Scott Conroy and Peter Hamby, and Todd Waldman is showrunner. Michael de Luca (The Social Network, Captain Phillips, 50 Shades of Grey) executive produces via his Michael De Luca Productions banner, along with Conroy, Waldman and Bryan Haas.
