James Corden of CBS’ The Late Late Show will return for the second consecutive year to host the Hollywood Film Awards Sunday, November 6, dick clark productions announced today. The awards ceremony, taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

“Entertaining a room full of the world’s biggest stars is no easy feat, but James Corden commanded the room at last year’s Hollywood Film Awards with incredible grace and wit,” said Allen Shapiro, CEO of dick clark productions.  “We are thrilled to have him return for a second consecutive year as host of the Hollywood Film Awards.”

The Hollywood Film Awards honors films, actors, cinematography, visual effects, film composing, costume design, editing, production design, sound and makeup & hairstyling. Often considered the annual launch of awards season, the HFAs have handed out trophies to more than 110 awardees who have gone on to garner Oscar nominations and/or wins, says dick clark productions.

Honorees for this year’s event will be announced at a later date.
