Tina Fey and Chris Rock will be the featured speakers at this year’s Produced By: New York conference, the Producers Guild of America announced today. This year’s PBNY is set for Saturday, October 29 and will be held, for the third consecutive year, at the Time Warner Center.

“Tina Fey and Chris Rock are each living proof that you can be an excellent producer while being the funniest person in the room,” said PGA Presidents Lori McCreary and Gary Lucchesi. “The PGA is thrilled to welcome two of the city’s most practiced and proven artists to Produced By: New York. We are looking forward to each speaker’s unique insight into their careers as actors, writers, storytellers and the path which led to them becoming producers.”

Fey’s discussion will be titled “Triple Threat: Conversation with Tina Fey,” while Rock will be featured in “Dying is Easy. Comedy is Hard,” along with Red Hour Films’ Stuart Cornfeld.

Additional speakers will be announced in the coming months, the PGA says. Last year’s event included Michael Moore, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Effie Brown, Barbara Hall, John Hoffman, Navid Khonsari, Robert & Michelle King, Michael London, Tom McCarthy, Lydia Dean Pilcher, Peter Saraf, Darren Star, and Christine Vachon, among many others.

PBNY is an educational forum conducted by producers and creative entrepreneurs, covering film, television and new media. Registration and pricing information can be found at ProducedByConference.com/NY2016.
