Manhattan alumna Katja Herbers has booked a recurring role on the third and final season of HBO’s supernatural drama The Leftovers. Details of her character are being kept under wraps.

Created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta based on Perrotta’s book, the series’ second season expanded on the original concept of The Rapture explored in Perrotta’s novel, continuing to focus on the ways ordinary people react to inexplicable events. Season 3 is slated to premiere in 2017.

Herbers was series regular on both seasons of WGN America’s Manhattan and also recurred on FX’s The Americans. She’s repped by UTA, managed by Lasher Group, and attorney Fred Toczek.
