Former ESPN lightning rod Skip Bayless has signed a deal with Fox Sports to host a new sports-talk show on Fox Sports 1. It will bow on September 6 at 10 AM ET, which means it will go head-to-head with his former show, ESPN’s First Take, where Max Kellerman has replaced Bayless alongside co-host Stephen A Smith. The move for Fox Sports reunites Bayless and Jamie Horowitz, the former ESPN programming exec who is now president of Fox Sports National Networks after a brief stint running NBC’s Today show. He also has brought over former ESPNers Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock whose daily talk show bowed in June.
