Nick Sagar (The Haves and the Have Nots) has booked a recurring role on the second season of the Freeform drama series Shadowhunters. Based on Cassandra Clare’s YA book series The Mortal Instruments, the series about demon-hunting teens who are part angel and part human stars Katherine McNamara as Clary Fray, who finds out on her 18th birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. Sagar will play Victor Aldertree, a charming Clave Representative who arrives at the New York Institute in the aftermath of Jace’s (Dominic Sherwood) departure with Valentine (Alan Van Sprang).

Manuel Uriza has signed on for a recurring role in AMC’s upcoming drama series The Son. Based on the book by Philipp Meyer and written by Meyer, Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy, The Son is a multi-generational epic tale of the story of America’s birth as a superpower through the bloody rise and fall of one Texas family. Uriza will play Aniceto Pizana, a charming revolutionary in the mold of Che Guevera. Uriza recently can be seen in a recurring role in AMC’s Better Call Saul. He is repped by Vision Entertainment.
