The international trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story advances what we know about the first standalone Star Wars film – well, at least an inch or two. In the franchise’s long tradition of paternity reveals, the new clip includes a few seconds not shown in the official domestic trailer released last week during the Olympics: Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor tells Felicity Jones’ rebel Jyn Erso that the message about an imminent major weapons test was (wait for it) “sent by your father.”

If you’ve been paying attention to all things Rogue, you’ll know that Mads Mikkelsen’s Galen Erso is Jyn’s estranged dad. But is he also a secret-revealing spy sending confidential intel to the Rebels? That’s one possibility.

Aside from Cassian’s reveal, the two trailers are pretty similar. Both feature Rebel leader Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) breaking the gloomy news to her crew about the scary new weapon: “We need to know what it is and how to destroy it.” Don’t we all, Mon, don’t we all.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16, 2016. You can check out the international trailer above, and compare it to the domestic trailer below, and read Deadline’s analysis by Ross A. Lincoln here.
