NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers will broadcast live at 12:35 AM ET/PT on Thursday, following Donald Trump’s victory-lap speech after being named the GOP Presidential nominee to replace Barack Obama as POTUS. Meyers will do same again the following Thursday, the final night of the DNC, after Hillary Clinton gives her speech.
Joining Meyers this Thursday as guests will be Ghostbusters‘ Leslie Jones and chef Carlo Mirarchi. On Thursday, July 28, Meyers will be joined by Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che.
Meyers famously has banned Trump from appearing on his NBC late-night show because the candidate banned the Washington Post from his campaign events owing to one of its reports on his campaign. Meyers notes Trump, who has appeared on Lorne Michaels’ other NBC late-night shows including hosting Saturday Night Live and performing comedy sketches with Tonight Show‘s Jimmy Fallon, had, before the ban, never expressed interest in appearing on Late Night.
Meyers also has promised Trump that, if he resigns from the White House race, NBC will give him his own primetime show in which he can play POTUS without any of the responsibility.
