Pierce Brosnan, who just recently completed Martin Campbell’s The Foreigner opposite Jackie Chan, has signed on to Scott Mann’s actioner Final Score with Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy).  Final Score, written by the brothers Lynch and Jonathan Frank, takes place at a major sporting event when stadium is suddenly seized by a group of heavily armed criminals demanding ransom.  An ex-soldier must use all his military skills to save the 35,000 capacity crowd, one of which is the daughter of his fallen comrade. The project will go before the cameras in London on Aug. 8th.

Alexandra Dinu (Red Valentine, Island) and Julian Cheung (The Grandmaster) also star. The main location for Final Score will be at the world-renowned Upton Park Stadium — a famous London landmark that has been the home of Premier League soccer club West Ham United for over 100 years. The venue will be handed over to a British property developer following production.

Signature Entertainment’s Marc Goldberg is producing alongside The Fyzz Facility’s Robert Jones, James Harris, Mark Lane, and Wayne Marc Godfrey. Babak Eftekhari will co-produce. HFG’s Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier will handle global sales and serve as executive producers alongside Mark Canton, Courtney Solomon, Zac Adler, Elizabeth Williams and David Sullivan.

The Gersh Agency is co-representing U.S. rights.

Brosnan’s The Foreigner was produced by The Fyzz Facility’s Wayne Marc Godfrey. This fall, Brosnan will star in Across the River and into the Trees based on Ernest Hemingway’s classic novel of the same name which is also being directed by Campbell.

The actor is currently filming AMC’s new drama series The Son, based on the Philipp Meyer novel about the rise and fall of a Texas oil family. Last year, Brosnan starred in the soon-to-be released thriller I.T., produced by his production company, Irish DreamTime, alongside Voltage Pictures and Friendly Films.

Bautista, who was also in Columbia Pictures’ James Bond film Spectre, most recently wrapped production on Matthias Hoene’s Warrior’s Gate for EuropaCorp. He will next co-star in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 alongside Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana as well as the Untitled Blade Runner Project alongside Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Robin Wright. He is, of course, is a six-time WWE world champion, winning the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice.
