EXCLUSIVE: Management 360 has hired Sam Grey from Broadway Video to become a manager and producer. There is precedent for the company to bring back Grey, and there is also evidence he will be able to navigate his way around the talent representation game. He started with Management 360, and he is the son of Brad Grey, who, before becoming chairman/CEO of Paramount Pictures was arguably the most successful talent manager of his era.

For the past three and a half years, Sam Grey has overseen film development at Broadway Video, where he served under Lorne Michaels, the Saturday Night Live exec producer who also funnels talent from the sketch show into movies and TV projects. Grey became an executive producer on films that included the Colin Jost-scripted Staten Island Summer, the Tina Fey-starrer Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, and Brother Nature, the upcoming comedy that stars Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan.

Prior to Broadway Video, Grey was a creative executive for Harvey Weinstein at The Weinstein Company. And before that, he started in the Management 360 mailroom after graduating from Brown University. The Management 360 partners confirmed Grey’s move, saying they were glad to have him back in the fold.
