Less than a month after she accepts the Democrats’ nomination for President, Hillary Clinton is returning to L.A. for another run at the Hollywood ATM courtesy of longtime supporter Haim Saban. The Power Rangers billionaire and his wife Cheryl will be hosting the deep-pocketed shindig on August 22 at their Bev Hills home. Getting the band back together, a couple of past Clinton contributors also will be serving as co-hosts: Disney boss and L.A. Olympics bid chief Casey Wasserman.
Next month’s event will mark Clinton’s 14th Hollywood fundraiser since announcing her latest bid for the White House in spring 2015. The former Secretary of State was last in town on June 28 for an event at Screening Room partner and Facebook billionaire Sean Parker’s pad with Metallica’s Lars Urlich and Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell in attendance.
Clinton is expected to name her running mate in the next couple of days and, of course, will be the star of Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week.
Well they’re stuck with her now.

Republicans harp on how the DNC is getting money from A-List celebrities who have no political knowledge and don’t know what they’re talking about, then ask D-List celebrities who not only have zero political knowledge but also added nothing to their own industry to speak at their convention. They say actors have no substance, but are putting a pyramid scheme pill-peddler and Sandy Hook truther Alex Jones in positions that imply these two somehow do have substance.
