EXCLUSIVE: A number of promotions and changes were just made at Dattner Dispoto and Associates, a talent agency founded in 1987 that represents below-the-line crew.

Juanita Tiangco was named VP Commercials and Music Videos. Tiangco ran DDA’s New York office for five years, repping such talent as Harris Savides, Lance Acord, Salvatore Totino, Tami Reiker and Jim Fealy. She returned to DDA in Los Angeles in 2005. She has been an agent for 26 years, including 16 at DDA.

Priding herself on maintaining the agency’s commercial and music video roster, she said: “Over the years, I have witnessed this company grow to a major player in the below-the-line industry and that’s because of the dedication of everyone here. We are now one of the premier talent agencies for below-the-liners across this industry.”

Last month, she represented DDA at the inaugural Cannes Lions Entertainment for Music Awards, where her client DP Malik Sayeed’s music video for Beyonce’s “Formation” took the coveted Grand Prix prize.

Meanwhile, Dan Burnside, who joined the company in 1999 from Rysher Entertainment, has just been named VP Features and Television. He reps many of feature and television’s top cinematographers, including Manuel Billeter, Jim Hawkinson and Rachel Morrison. Over the years, he has been integral to building DDA’s features and television department.

The two new VPs join Bill Dispoto, who now assumes the role of company president. Bill joined the company in 1995 as a talent agent, stepping up to VP in 1999. He became partner in 2001. A self­ confessed movie geek, Dispoto has guided the careers of such leading artisans as Maryse Alberti, Bojan Bazelli, Christian Berger, Paul Cameron, Jeff Cronenweth and Claudio Miranda.

“Both Juanita and Dan are key to the ongoing success of the business,” Dispoto said in a statement. “Their experience and expertise underscores our future growth, adding to our already considerable accomplishments.”

Fay Dattner, who founded the agency, will continue in her role.

Dattner Dispoto and Associates’ clients have worked on such films as The Danish Girl, Dope, Creed,  The Fault in Our Stars, Les Misérables, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The King’s Speech, Life of Pi, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Social Network, Lost in Translation and Fight Club. On the TV side, DDA clients’ credits include Hannibal, Jessica Jones, The Man in the High Castle, Fear the Walking Dead, Sherlock, Gotham, Outlander, White Collar, Fringe, Hatfields & McCoys, The Kennedys, The Wire, Law & Order and True Blood.
