Breaking Bad alum Dean Norris has booked a recurring role opposite Britt Robertson and Ellie Reed in Girlboss, Netflix’s 13-episode comedy series inspired by Sophia Amoruso’s popular autobiography.

Written/executive produced by Pitch Perfect scribe Kay Cannon and to be directed by Christian Ditter, Girlboss hails from Charlize Theron’s Denver & Delilah production company. It centers on Sophia (Robertson), a rebellious, broke anarchist who refuses to grow up. She stumbles upon her passion of selling vintage clothes online and becomes an unlikely businesswoman. As she builds her retail fashion empire, she realizes the value and the difficulty of being the boss of her own life. Norris will play Jay, Sophia’s (Robertson) father and her polar opposite.

Best known for his role as Hank Schrader in AMC’s Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning Breaking Bad, Norris next will be seen in Colin Trevorrow’s The Book of Henry, opposite Naomi Watts, and Fist Fight, opposite Ice Cube and Charlie Day. He’s repped by CAA and Industry Entertainment Partners.
