Brannen comes from the Rothman Brecher Agency, where she was an agent in the TV lit department for the past three years. She began her career as an assistant in the Motion Picture Literary department at CAA then went on to work for various producers and filmmakers before joining the Gersh Agency, where she worked as agent for two years.

UTA ‘legally snared’ Rina Brannen and we truly wish her the best,” Rothman Brecher partner Robb Rothman said, referencing CAA’s accusations that UTA had “illegally snared” its top comedy agents.

At the Rothman Brecher Agency, Brannen represented writers, producers and directors in television, film and books, including writers Alex Metcalf (UnReal), Jen Klein (Grey’s Anatomy, author of Shuffle, Repeat and Jillian Cade: Fake Paranormal Investigator), as well as directors Zetna Fuentes (Shameless) and Steven A. Adelson (EP/Director of Beyond).
