Veteran producer Hend Baghdady is remaining in the Fox fold, having been named SVP Production and Alternative Programming at the Jackal Group, Gail Berman’s joint production venture with Fox Networks Group.

In the newly created position, Baghdady will head the creative development and production of content for alternative programming and digital distribution, as well as oversee production for linear television and film projects. She will report to Jackal Group president Joe Earley.

Baghdady most recently served as Executive Producer and the Executive in Charge of Production at ADHD Studios, under the Fox Network Groups umbrella. There she helped develop, produce and distribute numerous series across FBC and FX’s late-night platforms. She also developed the digital arm of the company, creating short form content as well as branded initiatives.

“Hend is a rare talent. She is not only a creative leader who produces consistently imaginative, compelling content, she is also an incredible executive who possesses the expertise and vision needed to help expand our business,” Earley said. “With Hend joining the Jackal Group, we are now home for creators of virtually every type of content – film, scripted and unscripted television, live theater, and both shortform and longform digital.”

The Jackal Group’s current television projects include Easiest Game Show Ever at Pop, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the anticipated two-hour event set to air in the fall on Fox. In development, the company has Horrorstör based on Grady Hendrix’s novel, which received a put pilot commitment from Fox, and drama series Park Row, written by Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Robert Rodat. The Jackal Group is currently developing feature films Turn of Mind at Fox 2000, The Addams Family at MGM, The Untitled Elvis Presley Biopic at Warner Bros. and The Law of Return adapted from Martin Blank’s play documenting the story of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard.
