The NBA Finals are over but all of the Big 4 and the CW were in the game last night with NBC claiming the top spot among the key demo and total viewers.

The big match-up of the night was in the 8 PM slot with The Bachelorette (2.08) and American Ninja Warrior (1.8/7) facing off and coming up close to even. Hitting a new season high of 7.0 million viewers, the 2-hour ABC reality romance show was up 25% among adults 18-49 from its last original of May 30 when it faced the Stanley Cup playoffs on NBC. For the NBC competition reality show, ANW dipped 5% from last week when it faced the first part of Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Bachelorette was the top rated and most watched show of the night, but with Mistresses (0.8/3) steady, the Disney-owned net lost out just barely to the 1.7/6 rating and 5.76 million viewers that the Comcast-owned net snagged on Monday.

Part of NBC’s success came from newbie Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge (1.5/5) holding on to 100% of its premiere results from last week. The same could not be said of CBS’ BrainDead (0.5/2), which fell 29% from its already rocky debut of June 13. The new series from The Good Wife creators was the House of Moonves’ only original offering on Monday.

A finale, however, was also in the offering on the CW last night as Reign (0.3/1) wrapped up its third season up a tenth from last week and even with its Season 2 ender of May 14, 2015, a Thursday.

Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation (0.8/3) was even with its June 13 early numbers, which were adjusted up a tenth later on. Lead-out Houdini & Doyle (0.4/2) was the same as last week. The CW’s 9 PM Whose Line Is It Anyway? (0.3/1) was the same as the final downward adjusted result of June 13.
