Until recently, Hall served as SVP Comedy at HBO. He joined HBO in 2008 and was promoted to VP in 2011 and to SVP in 2014. His departure from HBO followed the recent executive restructuring at the premium cable network that saw former head of comedy Casey Bloys replace Michael Lombardo as head of programming and Amy Gravitt succeed Bloys as head of comedy.

While at HBO, Hall worked on series including Looking, The Comeback, Enlightened, Curb Your Enthusiasm, How to Make It in America, Project Greenlight, and the upcoming Judd Apatow-Pete Holmes comedy Crashing. Prior to HBO, Hall served as Manager of Comedy Development at Warner Bros TV.

Amazon’s original comedy series lineup is led by the Emmy-winning Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle.
