The 20-episode All In, executive produced by Newton and Magical Elves’ Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, features the Carolina Panthers quarterback pairing kids with unique mentors to help them reach their dreams. It premiered on June 3 to critical and audience praise.
“As soon as we started working on All In, I knew that Dan and Jane would be the perfect partners,” said Newton. “I’m excited to continue building on what we’ve already started, creating new, fun, authentic content for the world to see.”
Said Lipsitz: “It became obvious very quickly while shooting All In that Cam is a superstar both in front of and behind the camera, and we look forward to showcasing that talent across all platforms. Cam also has a very unique and fresh voice which lends itself to the new and expanding world of content creation, and we hope that with our experience and execution style, this partnership has great potential for success,” said Cutforth.
Newton is the only player in the modern era to be awarded the Heisman Trophy, win a national championship, and become the first overall pick in the NFL draft all in the same one-year span. He became the first player to win five NFC Offensive Player of the Week awards in a nine-week span within a season, and those five awards tied for the most in a season in NFL history (Tom Brady, 2007). Newton received the NFL MVP award, NFL Pro Bowl Honors and led the Panthers to the second Super Bowl in franchise history, most recently this year.
Magical Elves credits include Emmy-winning Top Chef and Last Chance Kitchen, Peabody-winning Project Runway, along with Time of Death, Project Greenlight, There Goes the Motherhood, Braxton Family Values and Last Comic Standing, among others.
