At last, here’s your first real look – aside from last year’s teaser – at HBO’s upcoming Westworld, a tv series reimagining of the 1973 film that was written and directed by Michael Crichton. The new series, created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, has taken a long time to get to this point, with HBO at one point halting production. But it’s happening and here’s your first look. The series stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Steven Ogg, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins Jr., Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, and Tessa Thompson. In the new trailer, get a closer look at the creepy futuristic theme park and the people (and androids) who populate it. Westworld is scheduled to debut this fall on HBO.
