Endemol Shine North America has added former Viacom execs Michael Gifford and Marjorie Williams and ex Mattel and NBCUniversal exec Ed Prince to its Business & Legal Affairs team.
Gifford has been named Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, while Prince and Williams have each been named Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for Endemol Shine North America. All three report to John Farrell, General Counsel, Endemol Shine North America, and will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office.
In his new position, Gifford will serve as a negotiator and legal advisor to the company, working primarily with the company’s scripted division, Endemol Shine Studios. Previously Gifford was Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at Viacom
Prince is responsible for providing advice, counsel and comprehensive business and legal services to Endemol Shine North America’s Digital, Brand & Audience Development group. Prior to joining Endemol Shine North America, Prince worked for Mattel Inc., where he was the lead production counsel for all Mattel entertainment projects, live events and strategic entertainment partners. Previously Prince served as Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs for NBCUniversal Television’s consumer products division.
Williams will oversee development matters for ESNA’s unscripted programming team and work with the company’s digital division Endemol Shine Beyond, as well as support Farrell on day-to-day corporate and litigation matters. Williams previously served as Senior Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs at Viacom, focused on digital/new media transactions.
