The drought is over. LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 93-89 tonight in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, to clinch their first NBA championship.

The Cavaliers also made NBA history as the first team to overcome a 3-1 deficit and go on to clinch the title in a final game that went down to the wire. Additionally, the Ohio team overcame a four-point deficit in the third quarter to deliver Cleveland’s first championship in any sport in 52 years since the Browns won the NFL title in 1964.

Leading into tonight’s game, the 2016 series was the second-highest-rated ABC has had since it started showing the NBA finals in 2003.
