Julian Morris (Hand of God) has landed a role in Felt, the political thriller from writer-director Peter Landesman. He will play Bob Woodward, the Washington Post reporter who teamed with Carl Bernstein to expose the Watergate dealings. Felt tells the story of the scandal that took down President Nixon from the vantage point of the FBI official the newspaper referred to as “Deep Throat.” Liam Neeson stars as Mark Felt, and Diane Lane plays his wife Audrey. Tony Goldwyn, Michael C Hall and Josh Lucas also star. Morris, whose recent credits include New Girl and Once Upon a Time, plays Rev. Paul Curtis on Amazon’s Hand of God, which returns for Season 2 in the fall. He is repped by Gersh, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, United Agents and McKuin Frankel Whitehead.
Sam Hazeldine (Resurrection) has been cast in The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Millennium Films’ crime thriller from director Patrick Hughes. Samuel L. Jackson stars as Kinkaid, the world’s best hitman, who decides to testify against his old boss — an Eastern European president (Gary Oldman) who’ll stop at nothing to keep that from happening. Interpol hires the best bodyguard in the business (Ryan Reynolds) to protect the hitman; only trouble is, they hate each other. Salma Hayek and Elodie Yung also star. Hazeldine will play Garrett, the leader of Kincaid’s detail, who has confidence in his team to get the job done at the highest level.
