Juan Pablo di Pace and Scott Weinger, who both recurred on Season 1 of Fuller House, Netflix’s reboot of the classic ABC sitcom, have been promoted to regulars for Season 2.

Di Pace plays Fernando, the “inappropriately passionate” ex-husband of Kimmy Gibler (Andrea Barber). Quite the playboy, Fernando is relentless in his attempts to reunite with his ex-wife, and he maintains a close relationship with their daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas). Weinger plays Steve Hale, the role he played in the original ABC series.

The 13-episode Season 1 continued the family adventures that began on the original show, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) recently widowed and living in San Francisco and raising her three sons with the help of her younger sister Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and childhood pal Kimmy Gibler (Barber).

Di Pace’s previous credits include Dallas and NBC’s A.D.: The Bible Continues. He’s repped by The Gersh Agency and ICA Talent Management. In addition to playing the role of Steve Hale in the original ABC sitcom Full House, Weinger was a supervising producer and writer on Galavant and Black-ish.
