Like a thief in the night or, if you prefer, a superspy called back into action, Universal just dropped the official trailer for Jason Bourne. Reuniting The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum dynamic duo of director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon, Jason Bourne picks up nearly a decade after we last saw the titular hero, thrusting him into the current decade with a story that appears influenced by everything from Occupy Wall Street to the Greek debt crisis and the Snowden leak as his past — what else is new? — again comes back to haunt him.

Along with the trailer comes a teaser poster, in murky black and white, emphasizing the series’ themes of self-knowledge and self-deception. Have a look.

Frank Marshall and Jeffrey Weiner will produce for Captivate Entertainment with Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith also producing and Rouse and Henry Morrison executive producing. It hits and infiltrates theaters July 29.
