The official trailer has dropped for the latest Netflix-Adam Sandler tie-up, The Do-Over, which reteams Sandler and his fellow SNL alum and frequent collaborator David Spade. The pair play old buddies who reconnect at their 25th high school reunion, discover that they are both tired of their mundane lives and end up faking their deaths and assuming new identities. What could possibly go wrong?

Paula Patton, Kathryn Hahn, Luis Guzman, Michael Chiklis, Sean Astin, Catherine Bell, Natasha Leggero, Nick Swardson, Torsten Voges, Renee Taylor and Matt Walsh co-star in the pic directed by Steven Brill from a script by Kevin Barnett and Chris Pappas.

This is the next film in the landmark six-picture exclusive pact between Netflix and Sandler to provide comedies to the streaming service. The first of course was the Western spoof The Ridiculous Six, which didn’t land with critics but was a score for Netflix, according to Ted Sarandos, who said it was the company’s most-watched move in the first 30 days after its December 11 release.

The new Happy Madison comedy bows on the streaming service May 27. Check out the trailer for The Do-Over above and the key art here:
