2 Broke Girls executive producer Michelle Nader has signed a new two-year pact with the studio behind the CBS comedy series, Warner Bros. TV. Under the deal, Nader will continue as executive producer/showrunner alongside creator Michael Patrick King on 2 Broke Girls for the upcoming 2016-17 season. (The comedy starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs was recently renewed for a sixth season). In the second year of the deal, Nader will develop new projects for Warner Bros. TV.
Nader has been at Warner Bros. TV since 2010 and on 2 Broke Girls since its 2011 launch. She previously created and executive produced the NBC comedy series Kath & Kim, based on the Australian format.
Nader, who began her career as a staff writer on NBC’s Caroline in the City, also served as a co-executive producer on ABC’s Spin City and CBS’ The King of Queens. She is repped by ICM and attorney Ken Richman.
