U.S. distrib Abramorama has inked a deal with Italian sales company Rai Come to bring the All’Opera program to domestic audiences. All’Opera is a collection of the best Italian opera productions such as Verdi’s La Traviata and Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia as performed at Milan’s La Scala and the opera houses in Rome, Turin and Venice. All’Opera captures the performances in HD quality to re-create the experiences of actually seeing the live performance.
Rai Com is the sales arm of Italian public network Rai. Abramorama specializes in focused, personalized forms of film distribution. Other titles it has worked on include Asif Kapadia’s Senna and Cameron Crowe’s Pearl Jam Twenty.
