Flashpoint alumna Tattiawna Jones has landed the female lead opposite Andy Ridings in ABC’s untitled Weeks/Mackay comedy pilot.

Written by The Mindy Project co-star Ed Weeks & Hannah Mackay and directed by Leslye Headland, the single-camera project ABC Logocenters on lesbian Hilda (Jones) and her best friend Randall (Ridings), a neurotic straight guy, as they navigate their dysfunctional, co-dependent friendship and the world of dating. Jones’s Hilda is an intelligent and seemingly confident lesbian lothario with a dry sense of humor – that she uses to hide her underlying fear of growing up, settling down and becoming conventional.

Weeks and Mackay co-executive produce. Andrew Reich, who supervised the writers, executive produces.

Canadian actress Jones, repped by APA and Carrier Talent Management, also recently nabbed a recurring role on the upcoming USA drama series Eyewitness.
