Two hours of NBC’s singing competition The Voice drowned out the competition Tuesday night, providing strong leadin for previews of the network’s new comedy Crowded. ABC’s bible-drama Of Kings And Prophets descended into ratings hell, while crime procedural NCIS on CBS gathered the night’s biggest congregation in its 300th episode on CBS.

Daily Savings Start Havoc produced a %7 decline in 18-49 viewing levels at 8 PM ET and 5%  at 8:30 PM. And, of course, there were those markets in Super Tuesday 3 states that broke into network programning to cover voting results.

The Voice controlled the first hour of primetime in the demo (2.6, 107M viewers) while the landmark episode of NCIS topped in total viewers (2.0, 14.8M).  The signing competition maintained its iron grip on the demo in the 9 PM hour (2.9, 11.4M), while  CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans (1.6/ 11.9M) took over for the mothership in overall crowd.

At 10 PM, NBC previewed two back-to-back epsiodes of new comedy Crowded,  in advance of its Sunday timeslot launch. The millennials-moving-back-in series, starring Carrie Preston and Patrick Warburton, logged a 1.8 rating (and 6.8M viewers) at 10,  and 1.4 (and 5.3M viewers) at 10:30, continuing NBC’s demo-sweep of the night.

Also at 10, guess again if you didn’t think things could get worse for ABC’s latest Tuesday 10 PM casualty,  Of Kings and Prophets, which had opened with a dismal 0.8 demo rating last week to mark a new low for a non-Friday series premiere on the Big 4 networks this season. The bible-dram plunged to a 0.5 rating last night (and 2.4M viewers). ABC’s schedule got off to a rough start with was Fresh off the Boat particularly Daylight Savings-dinged (1.1, 4.2M), followed by The Real O’Neals (1.0, 3.6M), and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. suffering a series low (1.0, 2.9M viewers).

On Fox, New Girls (1.0, 2.3M), paddled alongside Boat in the demo, after which a Grandfathered repeat (0.5, 1.5M) tread ratings water, followed by Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.8, 2M), and Grinder (0.6, 1.6M).

CW was saddled with repeats of Flash (0.4, 1.2M) and iZombie (0.2, 625K)
