CBS’ Supergirl was the biggest ratings mover last night, jumping +31% week-to-week among adults 18-49 and +21% in total viewers (Live+same day) with an episode featuring the Flash from the CW series. Supergirl’s 1.7 rating in 18-49 was the highest for a scripted series last night, while the freshman’s total audience was 7.24 million viewers.

The rest of the Monday programs were steady, even or within a tenth of their 18-49 results last week. Helped by Supergirl‘s ascend, CBS’ Scorpion (1.6, 8.63 million) was up by a tenth in the demo from last Monday, while NCIS: Los Angeles (1.2, 8.72 million) slipped by a tenth. Both returning dramas were just renewed for next season.

NBC’s The Voice (2.8, 11.22 million) was up a tenth from its 18-49 fast national last week while Blindspot (1.6, 6.1 million) was even. The Voice often is adjusted up in the finals, as was the case last Monday, while Blindspot gets adjusted down a tenth sometimes, which happened last week. NBC won the night in 18-49 (2.4) and total viewers (9.4 million)

No surprise about Supergirl, what with the crossover. I really enjoy the show and don't know why...

The ratings bump for the Supergirl-Flash team-up had no impact on fellow DC drama Gotham (1.3), which held steady against Supergirl. Also flat from last Monday was Fox’s Lucifer (1.2). ABC’s Dancing With the Stars (1.7, 11.83 million) slipped by just a tenth from its season premiere and may pull up to even in the finals. It was the most watched program of the night. ABC used the veteran reality series to drive extra sampling for The Catch pilot, whose reboroadcast at 10 PM garnered 4.3 million viewers and a 0.7 in 18-49.

Both CW comedies ticked up with their most watched episodes in over a month. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend got back up to a 0.3 in 18-49 after that worrisome 0.2 last week. It rose +30% in total viewers (921,000) week to week. Jane the Virgin (0.4; 928,000) also was up a tenth in the demo.
