What this means of course is that the spoilerphobes among you might want to keep away from social media for the next few days. The screening ends at 6:30 PM Pacific and almost certainly the first reactions will begin pouring out immediately after.
Directed by Zach Snyder from a script by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, the film unites DC’s flagship heroes Batman and Superman on the big screen for the first time. Set in the aftermath of the events of Man Of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sees the duo come into conflict as Batman (Ben Affleck) believes Superman (Henry Cavill) to be an alien invader and Superman sees Batman as a dangerous vigilante. The film sets up the eventual Justice League duology of films and as such features the debut of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, along with cameos by Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
The film also sees the return of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White, along with newcomers Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Holly Hunter.
