NBC is using its flagship reality series The Voice to get sampling for another midseason series. New drama Game Of Silence will get a preview on Tuesday, April 12, following a two-hour episode of The Voice, ahead of the new series’ April 14 premiere in its regular Thursday 10 PM time slot. (Game of Silence was originally slated to debut on April 7. That has been pushed by a week to get the post-Voice launch.)

Other NBC midseason series previewed behind The Voice this season include newbies Superstore, Telenovela, Crowded and Little Big Shots as well as returning comedy The Carmichael Show.

Based on a Turkish format, Game Of Silence is about a rising attorney (David Lyons) on the brink of success who could lose his perfectly crafted life when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark secret from their violent past. The serialized drama comes from David Hudgins, Carol Mendelsohn, Tariq Jalil, Sony TV and Universal TV.
