Fresh from hosting Tuesday night’s VES Awards ceremony, actor/writer/comedian Patton Oswalt will be extending his awards season tour by hosting the 2016 Writers Guild Awards West Coast, the guild announced today. The ceremony happens Saturday, February 13 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in L.A..

Patton and his co-writers Gerry Duggan, Wayne Federman, and Erik Weiner received a Writers Guild Award nomination last year for their work on the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards show, which Oswalt also hosted. Oswalt currently provides the narration on ABC’s The Goldbergs, and among his upcoming projects, he will appear on the Mystery Science Theater 3000 revival, and in the feature films The Confirmation and The Circle. Previous roles include Ratatouille, Young Adult, 22 Jump Street, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Observe and Report, Reno 911!: Miami, Parks And Recreation, Magnolia, and Balls of Fury.

The 2016 West Coast Writers Guild Awards will see Emmy-winning writer-producer Hugh Fink returning to executive produce. The production team also includes Tara Power and Joselyn Allen of Decoupage Productions, Co-Producer Kelly Brock, Director Nick Murray, and Head Writer Joe O’Brien, as well as writers Fink, Ed Lee, Beth Armogida, Shelly Goldstein, Gerry Duggan, and Matt Oswalt. The WGAW’s Awards Committee includes Guild members Karen Harris (chair), Steve Chivers, Patrick Doody, Shelly Goldstein, and Scott Saltzburg.
